RouteSync is an in-house product built for the flight simulation community. It takes a real-world flight number or callsign and generates a ready-to-use SimBrief Operational Flight Plan (OFP).
The goal is speed and accuracy: fewer manual fields, fewer mistakes, and a smooth “paste flight → generate OFP” workflow.
How it was built
Defined the shortest possible user journey, then expanded with an advanced mode for power users without adding friction for everyone else.
Built a clean component library with consistent spacing, motion, and states so the product feels cohesive and premium.
Added validation, rate limiting logic, and safe fallbacks so the tool behaves predictably even with incomplete upstream data.
Outcome
A polished, production-ready tool that helps sim pilots generate realistic OFPs in seconds — with a clear path for future expansion (addons, in-sim panels, schedules).
